About me
I'm Daniel, a creative designer based in Guadalajara. I bring a fresh, vibrant energy to my work (and teams I work with), always striving to infuse joy and dynamism into every project I undertake. With a multidisciplinary background and a constant thirst for knowledge, I'm continuously evolving and exploring new horizons. My journey began with a Industrial Design specialization from the Universidad Europea de Madrid, followed by a Master's in Industrial Design and Product Innovation from the Tecnológico de Monterrey. I then pursued specializations in graphic design and UI & UX at the California Institute of the Arts and a UX Research and design specialization at Michigan University, further enriching my skill set. My academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in materials with a focus on product design, allowing me to delve deeper into the intricacies of my craft. Throughout my career, I've remained dedicated to expanding my expertise across various disciplines, believing that true innovation comes from embracing diverse perspectives. I'm proud to have been recognized with awards such as the best master's thesis from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and the national prize for the best technological solution thesis from the Royal Academy of Engineering in Spain and First place as product designer in Diseña Mexico Award 2022. Additionally, I've had the privilege of sharing my insights as a speaker at international conferences, where I discuss topics about design and education. My passion lies in crafting compelling products, services, and concepts that resonate with users on a profound level. Whether it's 3D modeling, ergonomics, Human-Centered Design (HCD), or User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design, I approach each aspect of the design process with enthusiasm and dedication. I'm driven by a genuine curiosity about emerging technologies and a commitment to creating impactful experiences that enrich the lives of others.
